Landscape Project in Castle, Northwich
A re-design of a front garden and part of rear garden with a low maintenance being the brief. The garden was designed, drawn up, plant specified, plant supplied and implemented by Wilder Things to help a client who had no knowledge of plants but wanted something that would not take too much time to manage.
St Marys Church, Wirral
A re-design of a church garden that had been derelict. The brief was for removal of overgrown bushes and trees, increase access and introduce more windflowers. The community who attend the church all got involved and Wilder Things organised some wild experiences. In addition we organised felling within the site following strict health and safety procedure, using tree climbers, all with up to date certification, insurance and correct risk assessments/method statements.
Tree felling projects
“Thanks for Monday : feeling much cheered by the improvements you are instigating , not to mention doing!” Owners of Woodside Cottage Woodland
Wilder Things works closely with Country Gardens and Woodlands based in Oswestry. We can organise professional tree safety inspections, deal with TPO and conservation issues, fill in all relevant paperwork and speak with council officers on behalf of clients. Wilder Things will take the hassle and worry out of tree felling and project manage this to the client’s request. Following inspections they can organise the felling process and provide options for removal of timber. Country Gardens and Woodlands have qualified and certificated chainsaw operators, chipping equipment and timber removal equipment. All their operators are fully insured backed up with risk assessments and method statements.
Advice and Management plans
“We were both impressed by both your character and your horticultural and arboreal knowledge” Mr John Bacon who required advice on management of his garden.
Management plans for woodland can be written with advice and tips on the best way to manage your woodland into the future for both personal enjoyment and wildlife.
In addition Wilder Things can give advice on how to get the most out of your garden. A number of clients have approached Wilder Things to help work out easier systems in the management of large gardens.
Wilder things has a number of ecological experts that can be brought together to investigate and survey for Great Crested Newt, bats, flora, birds and invertebrates. Surveys are completed by licensed ecologists with insurance and all necessary paperwork.
